Practical information about the 2023 Conference on Engineering and Architecture Design Education.
Registration
The Conference Registration Fee of €300 will be used to cover attendance at the sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, cocktail party, gala banquet and a field excursion. Potential Polish participants may apply to the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for their fees to be discounted, if support funds are available. The accompanying person’s full registration fee is €150. The fee covers morning and afternoon teas, lunches, cocktail party, gala banquet and a field excursion.
Please note that Conference fees are not refundable.
Travel and Accomodation
Potential participants are fully responsible for making their travel and accommodation arrangements, and should note that neither the WIETE nor Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Wrocław, will take any responsibility or be held accountable for any cancellation of accommodation and travel tickets due to any unforeseen events that may cause the Conference to be cancelled, postponed or transferred to another location.
The WIETE or Wrocław University of Science and Technology, accept no responsibility whatsoever for their direct dealings with the hotels and/or any other organisations. It is highly advisable that potential participants should avoid purchasing non-refundable flight tickets. Both the WIETE and Wrocław University of Science and Technology reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Conference due to financial or other unexpected reasons.
We recommend to stay in WenderEDU Business Center (https://wenderedu.pl/en) which location and nature of the area will allow to calmly regenerate, while being 10 minutes from the Market Square, and 10 minutes from WUST Campus.
Associated Tours
It is envisaged that a series of general interest tours and social activities will be arranged and will be included in the Conference Programme, such as: the Centennial Hall complex with Four Domes Pavilion, Needle, Multimedia Fountain and WUWA Exhibition (Wohnungs – und Werkraumausstellung), the Old Town walk with City Market and Ostrów Tumski.
